Game Mommy

Jump to: navigation, search

A Game Mommy is a designated character, sometimes an NPC, sometimes a PC, who is responsible for making sure that the real-world players are having fun during a game. An in-game game mommy usually plays a non-threatening, protector role, and it may be public meta-information that "No really, this character is not up to sketchy shit, and you can ask them questions about your plots." They may also help feed game, especially in the case of 10 days (during which players and GMs are notoriously bad at keeping themselves fed.)
